A professionally produced video clip of approximately 7 seconds ( in duration), custom- made for websites. A video clip will liven up a dull website, add a new dimension in marketing and help to stay abreast of current technology.
The video clip is intended to give the viewer an impression of the place or of the service which is offered, or as a sample of the product for sale.

R980.00 ( inclusive):
1. Location film shoot, for a budgeted time of 1 hour, inclusive of a client briefing.
2. 1 Hour's editing, and compression to approximately 5 frames/sec, resulting in a finished product of approximately 5 seconds of 32mm x 25mm - Ready for posting to a Website.

AVAILABLE EXTRA'S

a). Higher frame rate, i.e. longer download time occupying more space.
b). Larger picture size, i.e. longer download time occupying more space.
c). Longer video clip, i.e. longer download time, and occupies more space.
d). Multiple video clips of the same facility, at R460 per additional video clip.
e). An additional charge of R290.00 / hour, or part thereof will be applicable should our services be required for more than the budgeted time.
f).  Special audio and music dubbing, will amount to an additional charge of R115 for stock music and R520 for a special script and voice-over.
g). Aerial shoots, underwater shoots, etc - Price to be negotiated.

CONDITIONS - VIDEO

1. Copyright on all video footage is reserved by A & M Photography. In accordance with section 21(1)(e) of the S.A. Copyright Act No 98 of 1978 as amended, the provisions of Section 21(1)(c) shall not apply to the works to be made in terms hereof and the videographer will be the author and the owner of the copyright subsisting therein.
A license is hereby granted for the limited use of the video, on a single website, unless otherwise agreed in writing. The granting of rights for additional usage is subject to payment of further usage fees, to be negotiated.
2. The master Video Tapes, remain the ownership of A & M Photography and Video Productions. unless other arrangements are made. We will keep a copy of the edited video for one year after the date of completion, in case future work is required.
3. Payment will be 50% on confirmation of the booking, and the balance on completion of the video.
4. We need at least ten working days for a standard video. Shorter production times will imply an extra charge to be negotiated.
5. We cannot be held liable for any unforeseen technical hitches. In the unlikely event of technical hitches, we will re-take if possible and/or negotiate a reduced rate.
6. We utilize broadcast quality digital professional video camera and editing technology.
7. Our original video quality is 3ccd digital (broadcast quality), and the original footage can be utilized for other marketing productions.
8. The quality of video coverage, depends largely on the available light, should the available light be of low luminance, then focusing and quality will be adversely affected. Please make sure that the available light is sufficient, or make additional arrangements for video lights at an extra charge.
9. The master dv video tapes will be retained for one week after the date of the shoot, after which period we will not be able to make changes to the editing, utilising the master dv tapes.
10. Should you for what ever reason need to cancel the booking, you will forfeit 50% of the deposit for administrative costs.
11. The video editing will be done at our total discretion, and any changes that may be required thereafter, will be done at R290 per hour.
12. On acceptance of this quote, you also accept our total discretion for the editing, as well as our technical and artistic ability. Should any changes be required after the initial editing, then it will be done at R290 per hour.

Note: If confirmation of booking is not received within 7 days of this quote, it will be assumed that our services are not required.

OPTION 2:  TRACKER SERVICE & OTHER HOURLY COMMISSIONS

Any commission where a professional cameraman is required to capture footage on location, for a website or marketing video or news event. Live broadcasts to a website are also possible i.e. live Webcam. Highlights of the footage can be prepared after the location shoot.

OUR QUOTE (This quote is valid for 30 days, after which it will be adjusted according to market conditions, if required)

A. VIDEO:
1.1 Minimum booking fee : R460.00
1.2 Plus R230 / hour or part thereof, for the shoot, and the editing.

NOTE:
a) As a rule of thumb, one can budget between R1150 - R3450 / minute of edited commercial video material (depending on the brief), complete with script, background music and narration, to make a production from material gathered during a tracker service. A budgeted quote can be prepared after a detailed briefing.
b) Please see the rates for live hosting on a website.

A. Original video tapes could be purchased for an extra charge of R400.00 per mini dv format tape - to be arranged before the shoot.
B. Special video introductions, can be made, and forms part of the editing, at an extra charge
C. An additional charge of R290.00 / hour, or part thereof will be applicable should our services be required for more than 8 hours on the day of the shoot.
D. Extra charge for separate lights required for shooting at low general lighting conditions @ R290.00
E. Travelling outside the Knysna, Belvidere, Knoetzie area, will be at R2.90/km
F. Special video effects and titles, form part of the editing.
G. Special audio and music dubbing, if required, form part of the editing.
H. Special script or narration - Price to be negotiated - we have several specialists in our area, who we make use of.
I. Aerial shoots, underwater shoots, etc - Price to be negotiated.
J. S-VHS copies of the edited video are available at R200 per copy, and mini dv copies at R400 per copy
K. Poster size full colour prints on 80g bond paper are also available of any frame on the video, at R90.00 per print at 300 x 300 dpi, while A4 prints on photo quality paper are available at 1440 dpi @ R40.00 per copy. These prints are to be protected from ultra violet rays and moisture, to prevent fading and damage in time.
L. Any video frame can be captured, and photo styled, to create special effects, to change backgrounds, to enhance colours, etc., to be stored on disk. Charges for these will be based on R50.00 per capture, plus R170.00 / hour for photo-styling, and R40 per A4 photo quality ink-jet print.
M. Photo's from video can also be stored on CD-Rom at R400.00 per CD.
N. Extra master copies of the edited video are available at R90 per copy, but must be ordered before the editing, as the original dv tapes are required for this procedure.
O. Courier or postal services to your delivery address, @ cost plus 30%

6. We utilize broadcast quality digital professional video camera and editing technology, and there is little quality loss through our editing and copy procedure. The editing incorporates various special effects, background music, audio dubbing, etc.
7. Our original video quality is 3ccd digital (broadcast quality), and the standard editing is done on PAL at 25 frames/second and a data rate of 1:11. Higher data rates for professional purposes are possible. Our normal video copies are made on high grade tapes, unless specifically otherwise arranged .
8. We will not be available after 22h00 for an evening booking, due to other commitments, unless specifically arranged beforehand.
9. We would like to have a detailed briefing, before a fixed rate can be negotiated.
10. The quality of video coverage, depends largely on the available light, should the available light be of low luminance, then focusing and quality will be adversely effected. Please make sure that the available light is sufficient, or make additional arrangements for video lights at an extra charge.
11. The master dv video tapes will be retained for one year after the shoot (unless otherwise agreed), after which period we will not be able to make changes to the editing, utilising the master dv tapes.
12. Should for what ever reason you need to cancel the booking of the shoot or editing, and we already turned down other commissions, on the same day, you will forfeit the deposit. However, should we manage to secure another booking on the same day, your deposit will be refunded in full. Should we not have secured another commission on the same day, between the time of canceling and the booked date, then 50% of your deposit will be refunded.
13. The video editing will be done at our total discretion, and should any changes be required thereafter, it will be done at R250 per hour.
14. On acceptance of this quote, you also accept our total discretion for the editing, as well as our technical and artistic ability. Should any changes be required after the initial editing, this will be done at R250 per hour.
15. Please make catering arrangements for two videographers if the shooting is to be done through a meal time.
